Gerrard Alexander Ansara is the owner of Ansara Architecture (Pty) Ltd. Gerrard has been in private practice for 15 years and prior to that worked in Australia and in the UK on multi-million dollar projects. He is registered with the Council for the Architectural Profession as a Professional Architect and is a member of the South African Institute of Architects (SAIA) as well as the Gauteng institute of Architects. Gerrard works in the now, learns from the past and envisions the future of architecture embracing the latest trends in Technology and Design. Ansara Architecture is a multi-disciplinary firm that has completed projects in the Residential , Commercial , Retail and Educational Sector.

Ansara Architecture is based in Kramerville Johannesburg with projects undertaken throughout South Africa and West Africa.

Justin is the Managing Director and partner of JVB Furniture Collection. Having learnt his trade under the wing of his business partner James Smith, co-founder of Wetherlys, from 2002-2006. After a couple of years of international travel and work Justin returned to start his JVB adventure with James in 2008.

OWNER OF RAIËL (Pty) Ltd

Following his passion and gifted talent, Raiël designed and manufactured wooden furniture since 1977 and handles in 1984, after identifying the need for quality products in the local and international markets. In catering for this need, Raiël (Pty) Ltd became the first manufacturer of these decorative products in South Africa. In 1985 he followed with wooden mouldings to complement his evolving but successful handle range, offering form, style and design to kitchen and furniture manufacturers. This in turn was followed by the manufacturing of components for the furniture trade and promotion industry.

Today Raiël (Pty) Ltd is celebrated for innovation and trusted in the industry based on vast experience and proven results and have branched out to include the design, manufacturing and supply of high quality Decorative and Cabinetry Hardware, Wooden Furniture, Sliding Doors as well as Office Desking. Our commitment is to complement the fine art of architecture in everything we do.

KARE Johannesburg is one of more than 150 franchise stores internationally, and the first in South Africa. Following my love for design, I opened KARE Johannesburg in May 2018, and will hopefully be opening our second store in Cape Town soon. I have 27 years of experience in retail, and doing what I love is an absolute bonus!

We hope to inspire and promote a Green Ethos throughout our industry.
